Phyllis M. Rich
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Rich is responsible for the Nuclear Energy Institute's (NEI) operations, including information technology, information management, industry data analysis, human resources and organizational development and training activities, finance and accounting, and facilities management. She also is NEI treasurer. Ms. Rich was involved extensively in the formation of NEI, established in 1994.
Before NEI’s formation, she was director of strategic planning for the Nuclear Management and Resources Council. Her activities at NUMARC also included issues related to improving the economic performance of nuclear power plants and analysis of regulatory burden.
Prior to joining NUMARC, Ms. Rich was project manager of the National Environmental Studies Project, a separately funded program of the Atomic Industrial Forum.
Ms. Rich holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in business administration from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum, American Society for Training and Development and the American Society for Association Executives.
