The purpose of the conference is to support the nuclear fuel supply industry in their efforts to provide clean and reliable energy. It will examine the changing nuclear fuel market, explore current and future supply and demand and provide a forum to examine challenges facing the nuclear fuel supply industry, as well as promote the networking of many organizations supporting nuclear fuel supply. Distinguished speakers from domestic and foreign industry and government will provide perspectives on market and policy issues affecting the nuclear fuel supply.

Registration will begin Sunday, October 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the Navarro Ballroom Foyer.

Monday through Wednesday, registration will start at 7 a.m. and will remain open during session hours.

NEI will host a welcoming reception on Sunday, October 6 from 6–7:30 p.m. in the Hidalgo Ballroom.

The special event on Monday, October 7 at 7-9:30 p.m. at the Witte Museum's South Texas Heritage Center. Buses will depart the hotel at 6:45 p.m.

A full breakfast will be provided Monday through Wednesday.

Times may be adjusted by 30 minutes.

Conference hours are:

  • Monday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday 8 a.m.-12 noon
  • Wednesday 8 a.m.-12 noon

Note: Lunch will be on your own each day.

Attire: Business casual attire is appropriate for the sessions and the opening reception. Casual attire is appropriate for the Monday Special Event.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration will close on Sept. 27, 2013. Please ensure that your registration form is received by Sept. 27, 2013. Registrations received after that date may not appear on the final participants list.

A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds received on or before Sept. 13, 2013. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations received after Sept. 13, however, we would be pleased to accept a substitute.

Make your hotel reservation directly with the hotel and identify yourself as an attendee of NEI to secure the room rate of $189 (city side) or $209 (river side). To guarantee a room and these rates, the reservation must be made by Sept. 13, 2013. After this date, the price and room availability are at the discretion of the hotel.

Hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a room charge. The room rate may be available three days prior and three days after the meeting, based on availability.

Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is noon.

Travel Information

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is approximately 8.5 miles from the hotel.

From the airport to the hotel, taxis cost approximately $24 one way.

SATRANS provides regularly scheduled shuttle service from the airport to downtown hotels. The fee is $32 round trip.
