The purpose of the International Uranium Fuel Seminar is to support the nuclear fuel supply industry in their efforts to provide clean and reliable energy. The conference will examine the changing nuclear fuel market, explore current and future supply and demand and provide a forum to examine challenges facing the nuclear fuel supply industry, as well as promote the networking of many organizations supporting nuclear fuel supply. Distinguished speakers from domestic and foreign industry and government will provide perspectives on market and policy issues affecting the nuclear fuel supply.

Registration will begin Sunday, October 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the International Ballroom Foyer.

Monday through Wednesday, registration will start at 7 a.m. and will remain open during session hours.

NEI will host a welcoming reception on Sunday, October 19 from 6–7:30 p.m. in the Embassy Hall.

The special event, co-sponsored by the Nuclear Energy Institute and UX Consulting, is Monday, October 20 at 7-9:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium. Buses will depart the hotel at 6:45 p.m.

A full breakfast will be provided Monday through Wednesday.

Times may be adjusted by 30 minutes.

Conference hours are:

  • Monday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday 8 a.m.-12 noon
  • Wednesday 8 a.m.-12 noon

Note: Lunch will be on your own each day.

Attire: Business casual attire is appropriate for the sessions and the opening reception. Casual attire is appropriate for the Monday Special Event.

Cancellation Policy:

Please ensure that your registration form is received by October 10, 2014. Registrations received after that date may not appear on the final participants list.


A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds received on or before September 29, 2014. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations received after September 29, 2014, however, we would be pleased to accept a substitute.

Make your hotel reservation directly with the hotel and identify yourself as an attendee of NEI to secure the room rate of $189. To guarantee a room and these rates, the reservation must be made by Sept. 29, 2014. After this date, the price and room availability are at the discretion of the hotel.  Rooms may become unavailable prior to the cut-off date so make your reservation early.
 
Hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a room charge. The room rate may be available three days prior and three days after the meeting, based on availability.
 
Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is noon.on.
 
Travel Information

Airport:
Altanta Hartsfield Airport is approximately 11 miles from the hotel.

Taxis:
From the airport to the hotel, taxis cost approximately $30 plus $2 each addtional person one way.

Shuttle:
Atlanta Airport Shuttle Service (T.A.A.S.S.). 404.941.3440. No reservations are necessary for arranging transportation from the Atlanta Airport to the hotel.  It runs 6 a.m. to midnight from the airport and it leaves the hotel every 10 and 40 minutes after the hour. $16.50 one way/$29 round trip per person..

M.A.R.T.A.:
(Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) $2.50 per ride. Rail system runs approx every 10 minutes. Hyatt Regency Atlanta is connected to Peachtree Center Train Station via Peachtree Center Mall. 20 minutes from Airport. (Airport pickup at baggage claim, TH Terminal. To get to Hyatt, take M.A.R.T.A. to the Peachtree Center Station and exit Northeast towards Peachtree Center Mall.

Parking:

Valet parking available for $32 per day.  There is NO self-parking available.
