Used Nuclear Fuel in Storage at Shutdown Reactors
There are 15 shutdown commercial reactors at 14 sites in 10 states with used nuclear fuel in storage in pools or dry casks. This fact sheet shows the quantities and locations (in metric tons uranium) of the stored used fuel. Four of these locations have operating reactors.
