WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Nuclear Energy Institute has elected Jeffrey J. Lyash, president of CB&I’s power unit, to its board of directors. Maria Korsnick, president of the Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, joined the NEI board of directors, replacing Brew Barron, who is retiring from the company.
Lyash and Lynn J. Good, president and chief executive officer of Duke Energy Corp., were elected to the NEI executive committee.
The elections took place this week during a NEI board of directors meeting.
Executives from all companies that hold licenses to operate nuclear power plants and selected representatives of other companies involved in commercial nuclear technologies are members of the NEI board of directors. Members of the board and its executive committee typically serve three-year terms, and officers are elected annually.
