Join Us!

NEI represents the interests of the nuclear energy industry 
As the policy organization for the nuclear energy industry, NEI fosters and encourages the continued safe utilization and development of nuclear energy and technologies in order to meet the nation's energy, environmental, and economic goals and to serve and support the commercial nuclear industry.  

NEI represents and serves the interests of over 350 member organizations in 17 countries. 

Are we eligible to join?
Membership is open to firms, corporations, unions, government agencies, universities and associations, both domestic and international, which are interested in and subscribe to the purposes of the Institute and whose application for membership is approved in accordance with procedures established by the NEI Board of Directors.  Individuals are not eligible for membership in NEI.

Who belongs to NEI?
NEI members include the electric utility industry, plant designers, architect and engineering firms, consulting services and manufacturing companies, fuel cycle companies, law firms, labor unions, radionuclide and radiopharmaceutical companies, international electric utilities, and many others.

What does it cost?
Companies are assigned one of several categories of membership based on their type of business.  Dues are determined on the type of business a company is involved in.
