Nuclear Energy Industry Congratulates Moniz On Confirmation as Secretary of Energy

The U.S. Senate today approved the nomination of Ernest J. Moniz, director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Energy Initiative, as Secretary of Energy. The Nuclear Energy Institute’s president and chief executive officer, Marvin Fertel, made the following comments in response to the confirmation.
