Transportation

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately 13 miles from the Royal Sonesta. The hotel occupies one block in the heart of the French Quarter, between Bourbon and Royal Streets.

Taxis cost approximately $29 one-way from the New Orleans International Airport.

Airport shuttle is available from the airport to the hotel for $13 one-way or $26 round-trip. The airport shuttle ticket desk is in the baggage claim area. Reservations are required for return to the airport only. Call 504.522.3500 at least 24 hours prior to your flight or ask the hotel concierge for assistance.

Valet parking , with in-and-out privileges, is available to hotel guests for $27 per day.

Directions to the Royal Sonesta Hotel from Route I-10 East
Traveling from the airport on I-10 East, follow the signs to the New Orleans Business District and continue on I-10 East toward Slidell.

• The hotel can be reached from I-10 East by exiting at Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre.
• Orleans Avenue becomes Basin Street as it curves toward the French Quarter.
• Make a left turn from Basin Street onto Conti Street.
• Follow Conti Street into the French Quarter. The entrance to the hotel's garage is on the right, immediately after crossing Bourbon Street.
