Force on Force Workshop

This workshop is open to safeguards-authorized utility personnel and authorized service providers.

This workshop is an opportunity for nuclear security professionals to dialogue and learn from the industry and the NRC’s experiences in the force-on-force program. The presentations and panel discussions will focus on lessons learned and the changing environment of force-on-force activities. Sessions will also provide the most up-to-date status on force-on-force changes in cycle III. Sessions will address:

• NRC presentations and reports
• lessons learned in cycle III
• anticipated changes in cycle IV
• FOF policy revision updates
• breakout sessions (managers/lead controller/lead adversary controller)
• status of FOF open items (SDP, white papers, etc.)
• protective strategy enhancements

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Security managers, supervisors, trainers and lead controllers/lead adversary controllers who have responsibility for the coordination and conduct of force-on-force exercises are encouraged to attend. Security service providers who have active contracts with NEI members are welcome to attend with client concurrence.

Cancellation Policy:
Please ensure that your registration form is received by Jan. 31, 2012.  Registrations received after that day may not appear on the final participants list.
A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds received on or before Jan. 23, 2012.  Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations received after Jan. 23, 2012; however, we would be pleased to accept a substitute.


 WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Registration will begin each day at 7 a.m. Conference sessions will be held at the following times:
    Tuesday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
    Wednesday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
    Thursday, 8 a.m. –noon

  • NEI will host a reception on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
  • NEI will provide continental breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • NEI will provide lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Workshop will adjourn at noon on Thursday.
  • Please note that the starting times may be adjusted by 30 minutes. This page will be updated when the conference times are finalized.
  • Business casual attire is appropriate.

A small group of government-rate rooms has been reserved and is available to those attendees who qualify. To guarantee a room at these rates, the reservation must be made by Jan. 23, 2012. After this date, the price and room availability are at the discretion of the hotel.

Hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a room charge. The room rate may be available three days prior to and three days after the meeting, based on availability.
