San Francisco, CA The Fire Risk and Maintenance Rule (a)(4) workshop will provide participants with information about upcoming changes to industry and NRC guidance supporting Maintenance Rule (a)(4) implementation. The workshop will specifically assist plants in understanding the changes associated with consideration of fire risk in (a)(4) assessments, and will describe potential implementation approaches. Results of tabletop pilot exercises associated with the new guidance will be presented, and utilities will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge about the expectations associated with the guidance changes.
The workshop will be beneficial to those involved in Maintenance Rule implementation, Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), Work Management, and the Reactor Oversight Process

CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Registration will begin each day at 7:30 a.m. Continental breakfast will be provided.
Conference sessions will be held at the following times:

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is approximately 17 miles from the Argonaut Hotel.
Nearly a dozen door-to-door van services operate from all terminals at SFO. Fares average $30 to $45 per person roundtrip. Taxi service also is available from SFO to downtown. Approximate fare to a downtown destination is $44. Taxis will add a $2.00 pass-through fee to all airport fares leaving SFO.
Overnight parking is $45, $60 for oversized vehicles.
