The annual NEI Health Physics Forum provides a unique opportunity for industry radiation protection managers (RPMs) and senior health physics staff to discuss regulatory developments; get updates on industry activities; and share operating experience, lessons learned and best practices.  The forum also will include regional RPM meetings.

Conference Information

• Registration will begin Sunday, August 17, at 4:30 p.m. on the Mountain View Terrace.  Beginning Monday at 7:30 a.m. registration will be located in the Crestone Conference Center Foyer, where it will remain open during session hours.
• NEI will host a welcoming reception Sunday, August 17, 6–9 p.m., weather permitting at the Edgewater Terrace.  One guest is welcome at no cost; additional guests will be $75 each.  Children 12 and under will be admitted at no cost.
• Continental breakfast will be provided Monday through Wednesday.
• Monday will be lunch on your own. The resort has many restaurant options:
  

• Edge Water Café –Experience Keystone’s signature lakeside vistas for breakfast or lunch.  Casual, sit down and family friendly.
• Big Horn Steak House – open for dinner only
• Pizza on the Plaza – Located next to the Keystone Lake serving Pizza and Italian Specialties in a casual environment.
  
• Lake side Deli – Every morning, enjoy fresh baked breakfast breads and pastries with Starbucks coffees and for lunch, an array of gourmet sandwiches and salads, ready to go or prepared to order.  Lakeside Deli is located right next door to Edgewater Café.  Grab and go or sit (limited seating).

• Tuesday a lunch will be hosted by the exhibitors (Nuclear Suppliers Association) in the conference center’s Shavano/Red Cloud rooms.
• Conference sessions will be held at the following times in the conference center’s Crestone Peak 1-4 rooms:

• Monday  8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Tuesday  8 a.m.–5 p.m.
  
• Wednesday  8:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

• Casual attire is encouraged for the entire forum.  Keystone’s average daytime temperature in August is 72°F; the average evening temperature is 36°F.

To guarantee a room at this rate, you must make your reservation by July 16.  After this date, the price and room availability are at the discretion of the hotel. Hotel cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled arrival, no shows, late arrivals and early departures will be charged for a one night stay of $167.

The Denver International Airport (DEN) is approximately 90 miles from the Keystone Lodge.
Eagle County Airport (EGE) is approximately 60 miles from the Keystone Lodge.

Parking
Self Parking is free.  Valet parking is $12 per day with in-and-out privileges.

Driving Directions to the Keystone Lodge from Denver International Airport

• Allow approximately 90 minutes travel time.
  
• Exit the airport on Pena Boulevard to I-70 West. 
  
• Stay on I-70 West for approximately 80 miles. 
  
• Go through the almost two-mile long Eisenhower tunnel. 
  
• Exit the tunnel and go approximately 6 miles to exit 205 (Silverthorne-Dillon). 
  
• Turn left, going under I-70 overpass, onto Highway 6. 
  
• Go approximately 7 miles until you come to Keystone.
• Once in Keystone, go past the traffic light, the Lodge (and Valet Parking) is on your right. 
  
• Parking for Keystone Lodge is on the left-hand side of Hwy. 6. 
  
• Access the Lodge by way of the pedestrian tunnel.

• Allow approximately one hour travel time.
  
• Merge onto I-70 and travel East for approximately 60 miles. 
  
• Take the Silverthorne-Dillon exit #205. 
  
• Turn right onto Highway 6. 
  
• Continue driving East approximately 7 miles until you come to Keystone.
• Once in Keystone, go past the traffic light, the Lodge (and Valet Parking) is on your right.
