The annual NEI Health Physics Forum provides a unique opportunity for industry radiation protection managers (RPMs) and senior health physics staff to discuss regulatory developments; get updates on industry activities; and share operating experience, lessons learned and best practices.  The forum also will include regional RPM meetings.

Conference Information

• Registration will begin Sunday, August 18, at 5 p.m. in the Richard Henry Dana Ballroom Foyer.  Beginning Monday at 7 a.m. registration will be located in the Dana Ballroom I Foyer, where it will remain open during session hours. 

• NEI will host a welcoming reception Sunday, August 16, 6–9 p.m. in Laguna Brick.  One guest is welcome at no cost; additional guests will be $75 each.  Children 12 and under will be admitted at no cost. 

• Continental breakfast will be provided Monday through Wednesday.

• Monday will be lunch on your own.

• Tuesday a lunch will be hosted by the exhibitors (Nuclear Suppliers Association) in Dana Ballroom IV - VIII. 

Conference sessions will be held at the following times in the Dana Ballroom I – III Foyer: 

• Monday          8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

• Tuesday         8 a.m.–5 p.m.

• Wednesday    8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. 

• Casual attire is encouraged for the entire forum.

Airport
Approximately 30 minutes from Orange County's John Wayne Airport.

From Orange County/John Wayne Airport: Take 405 Freeway South, which merges into the 5 Freeway South. Traveling past Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano, exit at Pacific Coast Highway on the right, heading north. Proceed through two sets of stoplights to Dana Point Harbor Drive, and turn left. Proceed a short block and turn right onto Street of the Park Lantern. Proceed to the top of the hill, and enter the resort's property.

From LAX: Take 405 Freeway South, which merges into the 5 South. Traveling past Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano. You will be looking for the Pacific Coast Highway Exit. Exit Pacific Coast Highway to the right, heading north. Proceed two sets of stoplights to Dana Point Harbor Drive, and turn left. From San Diego Airport: Take the 5 Freeway North. Shortly after passing the City of San Clemente, exit at Beach Cities, Highway 1, to the left heading north. Proceed two sets of stoplights to Dana Point Harbor Drive, and turn left. Proceed a short block to the next stoplight, and turn right onto Street of the Park Lantern. Proceed to the top of the hill, and enter the resort's property.
