NEI Licensing Forum

The NEI Licensing Forum is held each Fall to provide updates on key licensing issues and an opportunity to network with NRC and industry licensing peers.  This year’s Licensing Forum is expected to include discussions on licensing aspects of issues such as:  Fukushima response; cyber security; Byron open-phase event; emergency preparedness rule implementation; Part 72 framework; licensing manager's role in the ROP; Tech Spec Task Force products; NUREG-1022 Revision 3; the pre-submittal process; and other items. 


Who Should Attend

The forum is intended for licensing and regulatory professionals. Licensing and regulatory staff, as well as plant management and those supervisory personnel who work with the NRC on licensing issues, are highly encouraged to attend.


Conference Information

Onsite registration will begin each day at 8 a.m.  Continental breakfast will be provided. 

NEI will host a welcome reception Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 4:30–6 p.m.

Conference sessions will be held at the following times:
                  Wednesday, Oct. 10           8 a.m.–4 p.m.
                  Thursday, Oct. 11              8 a.m.–3 p.m.          

Lunch will be provided by NEI on Wednesday and Thursday.

Business casual attire is appropriate.

Cancellation Policy:
Please ensure that your registration form is received by Oct. 2.  Registrations received after that date may not appear on the final participants list.  A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds received on or before Sept. 17, 2012.  Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations received after Sept. 17, however, we would be pleased to accept a substitute.
