The 2010 North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NA-YGN) annual workshop will be held May 16-18, just prior to the Nuclear Energy Assembly in San Francisco, Calif. The theme for this year’s workshop is “Leading the Change: Go Green.” The preliminary agenda includes sessions on change management, fuel cycle, nuclear as a green technology and more.

This year, attendees will receive more professional development than ever. The conference has been extended to three days. Participants will choose from specially developed breakouts to help young professionals from all sectors of nuclear science and technology prepare to be future leaders. This year the NA-YGN conference has taken on several green initiatives, including the session design, handout materials and even the attendee experience at the hotel. These initiatives reflect requests from previous participants. 

Young professionals and students in all areas of nuclear science and technology are encouraged to attend the workshop.

Conference Information

Registration will take place Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 12 noon.

Conference sessions will be held at the following times:
  Sunday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  Monday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  Tuesday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

NEI will host an NA YGN reception on Sunday, May 16th and a NEA welcome reception on Monday, May 17.

Business casual is appropriate for the conference sessions. Business attire is appropriate for the Sunday reception and the Monday NEA reception.

Save $100 by registering for the meeting no later than Wednesday, April 14, 2010.  Registrations received after this date will be processed at the regular fee.
