National Nuclear Security Conference

 

Who Should Atttend


The National Nuclear Security Conference is an opportunity for security professionals to gather and exchange ideas and participate in discussions on the latest industry and Nuclear Regulatory Commission trends. Participants also will have access to vendors who are on the leading edge of security technology.

Security managers, security officers, trainers of security training personnel and professionals involved in security at nuclear facilities will find the conference informative.

Make your hotel reservations at J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge, by calling the hotel at 800.898.4527 or 800.835.6206. Identify yourself as an attendee of the National Nuclear Security Conference to secure the room rate of $199 single/double. To guarantee a room at this rate, you must make your reservation by May 29; after this date the price and room availability are at the hotel’s discretion. Hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours before scheduled arrival to avoid a room charge. Check-in is 4 p.m. Checkout is Noon.


Conference Information


Registration begins on Sunday, June 21, at 3 p.m.

Conference sessions will be held at the following times:

Monday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

NEW! Exhibit Hall only hours, Monday, June 22, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Exhibitors will host an opening reception on Monday, June 22, 6–9 p.m.
Continental breakfast will be provided Monday–Thursday, 7:30–8:30 a.m.

Lunch will be provided Monday and Tuesday, noon–1 p.m.
All food functions will be held in the exhibit hall Sunday–Tuesday, including breakfast, lunch, the reception and breaks. On
Wednesday and Thursday, the food functions will be held in the pre-function area.

Business casual attire is appropriate.

Save $100 by registering for the meeting no later than June 1, 2009. Registrations received after this date will be processed at the regular fee.

Golf Tournament

Join your colleagues for a day on the links at the beautiful Palmer Signature Course at the Wildfire Golf Club.

The Palmer Signature Course at Wildfire Golf Club delivers a target golf experience, while the expansive fairways allow golfers to remain in play even on an errant shot. The bunkering on the 7,170-yard, par 72 Arnold Palmer design is superb with four to six tee boxes on every hole, generously sized bent grass greens and sweeping fairways, which create an experience unlike any other. The golf course winds through the rugged Sonoran desert, offering stunning views of the McDowell Mountains, Camelback Mountain and Squaw Peak, making it the perfect setting for golfers of all skill levels.

Fee includes green fees, cart, GPS, range balls, bag handling and tournament services. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and top foursome. Rental clubs are available for $40 and include 2 sleeves of Callaway Golf Balls.
