Work Hour Rule Workshop

Washington Marriott Hotel
Washington, DC
May 19-20, 2008

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will issue (or issued) in mid-March new requirements for managing of personnel fatigue at nuclear power stations.  In response to these requirements, the industry has developed an implementation guideline, NEI 06-11, “Managing Personnel Fatigue at Nuclear Reactor Sites.”

Join industry leaders who are responsible for implementation of the rule requirements at an NEI workshop that will provide a unique opportunity to interact with key NRC officials who developed the rule and industry personnel who created the implementation guideline.

Workshop participants will discuss the rule and associated implementation guideline in detail, along with examples, to ensure clear understanding of the new requirements.

Who Should Attend

The Work Hour Rule Workshop is an excellent opportunity for companies implementing the rule to gain insights into the rule requirements. In addition, participants will interact directly with other utility leaders charged with implementation of the rule.

Station managers in operations, maintenance, security, outage planning, human resources, as well as program managers for rule implementation, will find the workshop very informative.
