Fatigue Management Workshop
The Westin St. Louis
St. Louis, MO
August 12-13, 2009
The nuclear regulatory commission (NRC) rule on Fatigue Management establishes new requirements for managing of personnel fatigue at nuclear power stations and must be implemented by October 1, 2009. In response to these requirements, the industry has developed an implementation guideline, NEI 06-11, “Managing Personnel Fatigue at Nuclear Reactor Sites” and the NRC has issued RG 5.73, “Fatigue Management for Nuclear Power Plant Personnel.”
Join industry leaders that are responsible for implementation of the rule requirements. These workshops will provide a unique opportunity to interact with key NRC participants in the development of the rule and with industry personnel that developed the implementation guideline.
During the workshop the rule and associated implementation guideline will be discussed with an emphasis on providing industry lessons learned from implementation pilots and self assessments.
Who Should Attend
The Work Hour Rule Workshop is an excellent opportunity for companies implementing the rule to gain insights into the rule requirements. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with other utility leaders that are charged with implementation of the rule.
Station Management in Operations, Maintenance, Security, Outage Planning, Human Resources, Licensing and program managers for rule implementation will find the workshop very informative.
