WASHINGTON—The Nuclear Energy Institute today launched a revamped Web site at http://www.nei.org. The new site is debuting after two years of testing and development aimed at re-establishing the site as the leading online destination for news and information about the American nuclear energy industry. The all-new site features a refreshed design, easier navigation, improved organization, and brand new content.
"The nuclear energy industry’s resurgence demands up-to-date, comprehensive news and information," said Scott Peterson, NEI’s vice president of communications. "It's all part of our effort to provide the best online resource for information about the nuclear energy industry.”
The online News & Events page offers the industry’s top stories, NEI news releases, as well as information on conferences and meetings. You will find links to in-depth resources and statistics, including fact sheets and briefs about nuclear energy and the industry's policy positions.
NEI’s new Web site also offers resources on a wide range of key issues, including environment protection, achieving reliable and affordable energy, nuclear plant safety and security, and integrated used fuel management. You also will find sections devoted to public policy, careers and education in the industry and nuclear technology.
A number of NEI online publications are also available, including: Nuclear Energy Insight; Nuclear Performance Monthly; and Nuclear Policy Outlook.
