The Nuclear Energy Institute appreciates the opportunity to comment to the National Nuclear Security Administration on the proposed rule to amend 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810) published by the U.S. Department of Energy in the Federal Register (76 Fed. Reg. 55,278) on September 7, 2011. This proposed rule would govern the provision by U.S. persons of unclassified nuclear technology services and assistance to foreign nuclear energy activities. NEI's comments are submitted on behalf of those nuclear industry members potentially subject to regulation under 10 CFR Part 810.
