"I strongly urge the Department of Energy to move forward expeditiously to establish at operable repository for the ultimate disposal of nuclear waste. In consideration of the extensive scientific studies at Yucca Mountain, the effort to determine site suitability should be accelerated. This can only benefit all of those impacted by the absence of adequate disposal for such waste, including the citizens of Ohio."
