Categories and Attributes
The registration team is responsible for understanding and knowing the attributes and categories within the AMS. Our conferences and events have different pricing for different attendees.
The membership department creates how organizations are categorized in our AMS. This determines what benefits each organization (and employees of that organization) will or will not receive. Attributes are created by both membership and registration teams. Attributes are necessary when determining what group or person(s) should receive a specific price.
When creating each price, the appropriate category and/or attribute must be enabled in order for the intended attendee to receive their appropriate price. (member vs nonmember, government, NEI Staff, etc.)
