Revenue Codes
For every event in our AMS, a SuiteKey (Revenue Account) must be created and other specific account codes must be used in order for the event to reconcile correctly. A SuiteKey is created for registration (Reg), sponsorship (Spn), and Exhibits (Exh).
The Revenue Account will vary between registration, sponsorship, and exhibits; however, the account codes for Liability, Write-Off, and Deferred Accounts will remain the same.
- Registration - 42000
- Sponsorship - 42200
- Exhibits - 43000
Price Codes
Every event has a price; even if that price is $0. Prices are determined on membership status (member vs nonmember), attendee status (speaker, press, government, etc.), and/or function (exhibitor, sponsor).
NEI utilizes a 2 or 3 tier registration rate level (early bird, advance, and regular). The deadline dates for each tier determines which rate registration level is received.
Below is an example of a naming convention used when creating pricing:
Member Rates
- MER - member early bird rate
- MAR - member advance rate
- MRR - member regular rate
Nonmember Pricing
- NER - member early bird rate
- NAR - member advance rate
- NRR - member regular rate
Miscellaneous Pricing
- GOV - government
- NRC - U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
- Press - Press Organizations
- SPK - speaker
- STF - NEI Staff
- TR - Training Session
- NR - Networking Reception
When creating a price, the naming convention of the Price Code includes event acronym, registration or training status, followed by the number of events per year (1 or 2).
Note: The number of events per year references the same event that happens more than once per year. The Nuclear Fuel Supply Forum is an example because this event use to happen in January (RG1) and July (RG2) of the same year.
Example of an Early Bird Price Code for a Member and Nonmember:
Event: Cyber Security Implementation Workshop
Event Acronym: CSI
Registration Status: Registration (RG)
# of Events per year: 1
- CSIRG1 MER
- CSIRG1 NER
