WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Senate has confirmed the appointment of two new members to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the reappointment of a third member. The following is a statement from Maria Korsnick, the Nuclear Energy Institute’s president and chief executive officer:
“We have always supported a full complement of five NRC commissioners and we commend this timely bipartisan action by the Senate. We look forward to working with Commissioners Annie Caputo, David Wright and Jeff Baran.”
