The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Ho Nieh to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The following is a statement from Maria Korsnick, president and CEO of the Nuclear Energy Institute:

His extensive experience in regulatory policy and nuclear reactor oversight comes at an important time for the agency.
